ROCKIN’ AROUND THE CHRISTMAS TREE

After years of online parties, the staff, members, and students of Sunshine Place finally celebrated the holiday season with a face-to-face Christmas Disco Party. Long-time students joined the fun, and a lot of new members came in their grooviest disco outfits as well.

The party was kicked off by an energetic performance of the Ballroom, Dekada, and Tap Dance students who danced in a medley of “Chilly Cha Cha”, “Shake It Off” and “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”. Students and instructors from the Art and Music Therapy classes also performed a surprise number of “Celebrations”. 

Games and a series of raffle made the afternoon extra fun and memorable. In true disco fashion, guests had a disco-all-you-can treat after the exchanging of gifts. Everyone danced to the nostalgic tunes of Abba’s “Dancing Queen”, Michael Jackson’s “Beat It”, and various VST songs such as “Awitin Mo at Isasayaw Ko”.
