CELEBRATING SUNSHINE PLACE’S 11TH ANNIVERSARY

11TH ANNIVERSARY: GIDDY UP!

On October 4, 2025, Sunshine Place marked its 11th anniversary with a lively Wild West–themed celebration held at the 5F Roof Deck. The event brought together members, instructors, and guests for an afternoon filled with music, laughter, and high-spirited performances.

This year’s theme, “Giddy Up” shined a spotlight on creativity and camaraderie as all dance classes took the stage to showcase their talent and energy. Participants wowed the crowd with show-stopping routines that embodied the fun and vibrance of the Sunshine Place community.

Adding even more excitement to the celebration were the event’s special guests — renowned dance icons The Aldeguer Sisters, Terri and Laly, along with Maribeth Bichara, and Mel Feliciano. Their presence brought inspiration and joy to everyone, reminding the community of the artistry and passion that dance continues to inspire across generations.

The celebration also featured special recognitions for the Rodeo Stunner (Best Dressed) and Rodeo Showstopper (Best Performance) — awards that captured the spirit of the Wild West while celebrating the passion and enthusiasm of the Sunshine Place family.

As Sunshine Place rides into another year, the 11th anniversary stands as a testament to its mission of fostering joy, wellness, and connection among seniors and their loved ones — through recreation, creativity, and community.
