Beginners Workshop

Porcelain painting is achieved through hand painting on porcelain plate, and is fired in a kiln for the paint to be permanently absorbed by the plate. The same process is done several times until the desired output is achieved.

Learn the process of hand painting porcelain such as materials orientation, pen work, mixing of paints and firing the plates in the kiln. Understand the different techniques such as wipe out, tactile finger, and brush techniques.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Mee Lee Casey, instructor to Porcelain Painting, shares her 33 years of knowledge and training on the craft. Learning from various countries, UK, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia, she brings the new art form in the Philippines, hence the first of its kind in the country.
