2022 SUNSHINE GOES TO PAR-TEA!

CELEBRATING SUNSHINE PLACE'S 8TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY

The recent celebration of Sunshine Place's 8th anniversary last October 1, 2022 was an evening of music and reunion. The party was the first face to face celebration after two years of online celebrations due to the restrictions of the pandemic.

Sunshine Place's 8th birthday was celebrated throughout September, with a weekend Open House, free demos and workshops by art instructors Mr. Fidel Sarmiento and Ms. Beth Robles, along with dance teachers Mr. Danny Vinculado and Mr. Mark Soler. Every Saturday of September, Life Care Fitness provided free health and fitness assessments to members and guests.

The highlights of the culmination event are the performances by the Tap Dance class, Dekada class, and the performance of Mr. Tony and Rafael Pastor.

Sunshine Place, a senior recreation center under the Felicidad Tan Sy Foundation, is a multi-service Senior Recreation Center that offers comprehensive and enriching programs for seniors. We aim to meet the wellness needs of seniors and their care givers through engaging, recreational and age-appropriate classes and physical training programs. Apart from this, Sunshine Place provides health education, art courses, music lessons, and other social opportunities for people of all ages.
