PIANO

LITTLE SUNSHINE WORKSHOPS

Learning piano helps build brain connections between the hand muscles and brain – a great way to stay mentally fit. Individuals playing the piano helps to build neural connections, improving mood, memory and clarity. Even a small amount of musical training will have long-lasting effects on the brain.

For the young, playing piano improves their discipline, patience and improve their academic skills. Learning the musical patterns can help a child develop mnemonic methods, improving their memory skills. Learning the instrument also develops coordination and motor skills, i.e. movement of hands, arms and feet, and even develop ambidexterity. Lastly, learning piano increases one's self-confidence.
