Sunshine Place together with Prof. Oscar Peñaranda , Instructor of Sunshine Place’s

most attended and well-loved Memoir workshops at Sunshine Place , will be launching

a new creative writing workshop . Building from story-telling skills honed in Level 1

and 2 Memoir Writing Workshops and Pre-Conference Writing Workshop, participants

will discover the line between memoir and story is very thin.

Writing short stories is a great way to exercise your story-telling skills. In this

blended workshop, you will learn about the elements of a story and ways to interpret them.

You will understand how to read stories as you are writing them, and write them as

you are reading.

Through this Short Story Writing Blended Workshop at Sunshine Place, Senior

Recreation Center students will be able to have a chance to learn about literary

techniques for crafting interesting and captivating stories that will engage readers.
